Marafiki Committee

Marafiki committee Congratulations to the Year 8 Marafiki Committee who have raised enough money to purchase a good quality digital camera (including case and memory card) for St Peter Claver in Tanzania. The camera will help to strengthen pen-pal communications between our two schools. The money was raised by organising the sale of the Marafiki Christmas cards and from the Marafiki Challenge Cup inter-form football tournament which was held last term. Well done to all the pupils involved.

Rotary Public Speaking Competition

Public speaking competition On Wednesday 27th February one of Our Lady's three public speaking teams were crowned Preston and District Rotary Public Speaking champions at the Guild Lounge at Preston North End. Netball Trip

Netball trip On Wednesday 20th January Miss Lewis and Mrs Lin took a group of twelve pupils to watch England Versus Australia in the first test of the Vitality Netball International Series.  The game was very close with England suffering a narrow defeat of 58 goals to 52 to Australia who are the current world champions and number one ranked team.
