Year 6 Taster Day

Year 6 Taster Day On Monday 4th July Year 6 pupils, our future Year 7, visited OLCHS. Their taster day gave them the opportunity to experience life at high school, enjoying a variety of lessons, whilst getting to know staff and fellow students. Millionaire Readers Trip

Millionaire Readers Well done to all our pupils who have read over one million words this academic year. Our Millionaire Readers were rewarded with a trip to the cinema to watch ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ on Friday 1st July; they all had a great time and are keen to do it all again next year. From September it all starts again, every Key Stage 3 pupil that reads over one million words between September and May half term will be invited to go Ten Pin Bowling during school time. It could be you!

SS Mary & Michael's Primary Design & Technology Workshop

Primary D & T Workshop As part of their Arts Week celebrations focusing on '100 years of Roald Dahl', Year 5 pupils from SS Mary & Michael's Catholic Primary School in Garstang visited OLCHS to work with the Design & Technology department to produce a class mobile and personalised door hanger each.

National Refugee Week
