Year 9 Rounders
by OLCHS News - Tuesday, 14 June 2016, 3:17 PM

Rounders team

Congratulations to the year 9 Rounders team who finished third in the Preston Schools Rounders tournament. The team faced tough opposition but managed to finish second in their league to go through to the semi finals where they suffered a narrow defeat to Broughton. They then played Ashton for third and fourth place. Thanks to some very tactical batting and excellent fielding they won the match.
There is such dedication among year 9 girls that we managed to have three teams representing the school at the tournament.
