Chocotastic Challenge

Well done to all year 7 pupils who have been taking part in the Chocotastic Challenge in their D&T lessons over the past month. Pupils have worked together in teams of three to develop a healthy chocolate product. They have also designed packaging, a moving mascot and promotional posters and leaflets. Each group carried out a superb visual and oral presentation to their class. All pupils were able to vote to decide a winning team from each D&T class, click here to see the photos.

Mock Election 2015
by OLCHS News - Friday, 8 May 2015, 12:15 PM

Mock Election

On Election Day we held our own elections to coincide with the general election. Every form in years 7 to 10 acted as a constituency with 4 candidates standing for election representing each of the 4 parties created by Parliament UK: Vision, Transform, Progress and Tomorrow.
Each party decided on their policies and produced a manifesto. Candidates then canvassed in their own forms to convince the electorate to vote for them. The successful 24 candidates will now represent the student body on the School Council. Click here for more photos
